Raikkonen, who married Jenni Dahlman five years ago, is putting off having children for now.

“Not as long as I am racing. I won’t have time to be with the children and it will not be the best time,” said the Finn who turns 30 in October.

He said he was happy with what he had achieved in his life and career.

Asked how he dealt with the media spotlight and fans, the normally reserved driver said it was part of life as a Formula One driver.

“Some places, they are completely crazy. Some places, they are not. Sometimes, you cannot go to certain places,” he said.

“We have fans all over the world. It is good to have that,” he added, noting that the team has a huge following in Japan and China.

The media visit to the Ferrari paddock was held in conjunction with the launch of the Shell Ferrari Model F1 Car campaign. The visit included a tour of the Shell track lab.
