Kimi is as fast as the wind - on a snowmobile

No matter what vehicle - Kimi Räikkönen is as fast as the wind!

Räikkönen took on Sat once again part in Europe's biggest snowmobile-event in Nilsiä. And even though the F1-season is behind the corner Kimi didn't chill, he cruised like year 2007 and became an enduro champion.

Räikkönen was really modest about his performation.

- It was ok, let's see what the position is going to be, Kimi commented.

- I didn't have the strenght to keep the gaspedal down he said to the other drivers who also drove with Lynx-snowmobile.

The truth when it concerned Kimi was far from modest because he set the fastest time. He was so fast that the experts were left far behind.

Kimi was in enduro the fastest of them all 2 years ago too when he attended this snowmobile competition.

The competition continues in the afternoon. Kimi came in 5th in the A-final, his time was the 7th best.

In the final the best race against each other. Kimi's position would be enough so that he could take part in it if he wanted to.

For clarification - Kimi drove in Class C.

The combined time of enduro and snowcross would have been enough for the final but you couldn't find Kimi from the starting line.

In enduro Kimi drove the fastest time and after that he came back to the pit, changed into something dry, put the helmet and the glasses on - and continued somewhere else. He did have time to give an autograph to the small girls.

Into the final came 25 fastest drivers. Kimi was all and all 7th but let it pass.

Which maybe was a good idea when thinking of the upcoming F1-season. The final proved to be a contact-sport right in the first corner.
