Lotus driver Kimi Raikkonen has said that they have decided not to use their new double DRS device in the 2012 Japanese Grand Prix as it failed to provide the desired results after testing in the Friday practice.

The Enstone based team first came up with their new device for the first time in the practice session of the Belgian GP but they haven’t used it since then as they believe that there is still a lot of work to be done on the design so as to get the most out of it.

Even though, they planned to take the advantage of their double DRS at Suzuka, however, Raikkonen thinks that they are not yet ready to run it at this point in time.
