Following last week’s three-day session, Ferrari and Toyota resumed testing in Bahrain on Saturday. Kimi Raikkonen was the man to beat, clocking a best time of 1m 30.914s around the Sakhir circuit to finish over two-tenths of a second quicker than team mate Felipe Massa.Both Raikkonen and Massa concentrated on development work for the F2008. While the Finn enjoyed a trouble-free day, the Brazilian’s programme was interrupted by a hydraulic problem. The pair will be in action on Sunday.Jarno Trulli was the quickest Toyota driver in third, with team mate Timo Glock finishing in fourth. Trulli and Glock covered over 150 laps, as they gathered data in the team’s new TF108. The warm temperatures also gave the Japanese squad another chance to monitor the cooling characteristics of the 2008 car.Testing continues in Bahrain on Sunday.
