Race fans across the region are looking forward to the return of the very popular and enigmatic Kimi Raikkonen to the grid of the Formula One Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix, happening at Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) in Sakhir next month.

Raikkonen’s comeback with Lotus-Renault after a two-year hiatus from the top flight has been considered to be one of the most exciting storylines heading into the 2012 FIA Formula One World Championship.

Raikkonen did not disappoint his backers with a fine showing down under, displaying flashes of his former brilliance en route to finishing a solid seventh out of 22 competitors.
