Is the Motor Show Festival’s star guest, that yesterday opened in Zaragoza. The young Spanish pilot will race this year the World Championship against Kimi Raikkonen, ex-Formula 1 World Champion.
Dani Sordo, Citroen rally driver, yesterday officially inaugurated the Motor Show Festival in Zaragoza. He was the star guest of the lounge, where, in addition, gave a skillful lecture to 30 kids.

How many interviews had you developed at the end of the day?
Uff. At least fifteen. It's almost harder to meet the press than to run a race, but I accept it with resignation. It is what it is.

Next week you will participate in the Artic Rally with Kimi Raikkonen as your teammate?
Kimi will be this year in a satellite team with Citroën, so running against an Formula 1 world champion will be another incentive, because for sure he will go very fast and he will give an important class to the championship.

Sordo or Raikkonen, who has more to learn in rallying?
Raikkonen, of course. It has less experience than me.

Have you ever thought in disputing the Dakar?
For the moment I am focused only in the WRC and I’m not considering anything else.

Martínez de la Rosa, Alonso and Alguesuari are going to be in the great F1 circus. If Raikkonen switched to Rally, is it possible that Dani Sordo switches too and end up driving an F1 car? Personally, what I’ve always liked are rallies because thy are my passion. So trying F1 for a while, maybe, but not as a permanent thing.

What is the secret for being a top driver?
To be fast, intelligent and to be always focused. There are pilots that go very fast, but then they always end up in the ditch.

What is the most important thing for a youngster that is starting in the racing world?
To learn English, to write pace notes, to be consistent in the gym… to be a great pilot, knowing how to sit in the car is not good enough.
