"Everythings fine as long as Kimi Räikkönen isn't the co-driver"

A joke about Kimi Räikkönen was made by David Coulthrad who sees that Räikkönen's rally-transfer is indicating a wider change in motorsport.

According to the scotish driver Coulthard, who was Räikkönen's team-mate in McLaren, the Finnish champ's decision to jump to the rally fields is only one example of how auto racers way of thinking has moved to new directions.

- It shows how motorsport world is changing. Still a couple of years ago the drivers wanted to stay in F1 and the career was made there, Coulthard says in crash.net interview.

- Now drivers are changing places, like when Sebastien Loeb tested a F1-car and drove in Le Mans.

Coulthard believes though that Räikkönen will do well in rally too, as long as he remembers his own role.

- If you are a talented driver, you are a talented driver regardless of what kind of car you are driving.

- Everything is fine as long as Kimi is not as the co-driver reading notes, as he doesn't really talk! Coulthard joked.
