Ferrari boss Stefano Domenicali has hinted that Kimi Raikkonen's future with the team is in doubt.

The Scuderia supremo revealed that Raikkonen would be under review this season after the Finn failed to impress during the 2008 campaign.
Raikkonen was crowned world champion in 2007, but failed to emulate that form the following season, sparking rumours he was to be replaced by Fernando Alonso.

And despite Raikkonen having signed a new deal with Ferrari at the end of last season, Domenicali has subtly warned the driver he is in dire need of some positive performances.

"He seems very motivated, and he's lost about three kilos I hear. He has the perception that for him, both as a driver and as a Ferrari driver, it's going to be an important season, but he's intelligent enough to understand that," the Ferrari team boss remarked.

Then asked if the season was also important 'for you to ensure his future?', Domenicali's simple reply spoke volumes: "Absolutely."
